It is a little difficult to tell from the photo. I personally would say that the body form isn’t consistent with a rc robin (see tail and forehead) ….but that is the problem with 2D photo ID?! I really appreciate seeing challenge in the moderator space, this makes for a richer community and better data! And if there is no consensus, that is perfectly fine and normal. 🤗

Well, I think since we are talking in “could bes” and no further evidence, other than Darcy being there on the ground, the safest is to consider having this one as unconfirmed. Confirming species we are not sure of and it turns out to be incorrect can have flow on effects for use of that data later, in things like regional modelling, land management decisions and species-climate change predictions. PS everyone should get into GIS to do these types of analytics- it’s fun I promise.
