I tried out the (new for me) "add and confirm" option for this one to add the new species but it just put it into uncategorised and won't let me edit it properly now. I might just stick to adding them manually in future since I have had better success that way @michaelb ?

Hi Luke, the "add and confirm" option is very problematic and it is best to add the new species manually in the usual way. The new species always ends up in Uncategorised and the admins have to move them to the correct category.
