If this is for a Glossy Black-Cockatoo record, I think the cones are usually much more torn apart than these are.

Yes, for a glossy. Some were very torn apart. It will be one that we monitor. There is a Landcare project to locate and monitor feed trees.

ChatGPT says other parrots (including yellow tail black cockatoos), possums, and rats. I’ll return to the site and include cones that have been totally shredded but it sounds like it might be kind of hard to tell what has been eating the cones. I’ll consult the owner of the project.
