3 individuals on eroded, disturbed ground with an otherwise high diversity understorey. My first thought is Stylidium, but I am not terribly familiar with this genus and the dramatic toothed margins seem a bit off.
Also briefly considered Plantago sp., but seems a little too tough and glabrous for any I am reasonably familiar with.
After a quick revisit, I am cautiously leaning towards a particularly glabrous Plantago hispida. P. gaudichaudii was also considered, but the lack of multiple conspicuous central veins seems to rule this out.
Kind of ironic for a species with the name "hispida" to be glabrous lol. We should be able to resolve this one, but I might need to do some digging, it's certainly unusual for a plaintain.
