Kevin - I know you are about to publish a book on ferns but are you sure that this one is the same as this?
Adiantum hispidulum var. hispidulum (Rough Maidenhair)
They really looked and felt different to me. The first one was rough and tough but this one was much softer and delicate. I guess I can go back and double check tomorrow.

Lisa - It may need checking yes. It would be very unusual to find A.diaphanum in that location (always in the very wet rainforest up the smaller valleys in KV).
