Not convinced it's Taxeotis perlinearia, which is very variable. Probably happy with Taxeotis sp

Yes, its variable in colour, but not so much in shape or markings. The pointed apex of the forewing is distinctive. Also plenty of darker coloured ones like your speciemen e.g. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/183927391
