Ctenochares is a genus of ichneumonid wasps with a cosmopolitan distribution. Species have been recorded in Europe, southern Africa and Australia. C. bicolorus is not native to Australia, but is arguably the most widespread species within the genus.
All Ctenochares species are parasitoids of noctuid moth caterpillars.
