Confirmed based on confirmation from Geoff Robertson who is a reptiles moderator for CNM

It is definitely not a Death Adder. The issue is whether it is a Brown or Tiger. Without a better look at the snake I would have to guess at Tiger. The frontal scale seems as broad as long which would also suggest Tiger

Really interesting. Geoff Robertson and Steve Taylor said it was a death adder. An iNat snake guy swore it was a tiger and the iNat app said tiger. Maybe ask Scott Keogh - ANU herpetologist?

To me (a novice snake lover), the head is nothing like a Death Adder.
