User's notes
Sighting individual unhealthy. Has not recovered from the 2018-19 drought. Significant branch death. Mainly juvenile foliage re-sprouted on branches. The other mature individual is healthy, but it is a smaller tree. Ten of the other individuals are saplings or suppressed adults, which are all healthy. Likely reasons: upslope site suffered greater water stress during the drought, and taller trees have a greater dehydration rate and xylem cavitation during drought.
