Small very fine leaves deep green. It was growing amongst and invasive weed that we were pulling out. I am assuming it is a native. Didn’t see other sin that area but have seen them in other parts before.

Young plant of this alien (bad weed) species .
I have professionally removed thousands of these plants in 35 years of the hands on side of my work experiences in NSW and Vic. .
