Having some trouble finding a match for this one! It was trying for some relief from the hot day by resting behind a downspout. The afternoon sun was directly on the front of the pipe.
Note: on 19 Dec 2024 I added 2 more images of what I believe is the same katydid. Image 1 was taken on 16 Dec 2024 4:42 pm.

Thanks, Roger. I tried looking online for Requena sp but only found sketchy info so far. However, I do have 2 more images of the same katydid. She is only a few metres from the previous sighting but again in a shady spot. I added considerable exposure during the editing stage to try for more detail.
