I heard a Gang Gang growling and galah alarm calls, this went on for several minutes so I went to investigate what was happening. There were 2 galah perched in a tree near the hollow and the male Gang Gang was perched in a tree fairly close to the hollow. The male Gang Gang was letting the galahs know he was not happy, the growling went on for a while then the male flew into a nearby tree with the female. The galahs sat for a while longer and then flew off. I haven't seen the galahs back near the hollow since. I have also noticed that a lot more chewing has been done around the hollow and nearby branches over the last week. and the male Gang Gang is always feeding in trees close to the hollow. I have not seen the male or female enter the hollow nor is there any sign of chicks sitting within the hollow yet

Thanks Aussiegall - it is possible that the Gang-gangs moved into the hollow after Galahs had used it and the Galah pair were just back doing a "house" inspection - if this was teh case fledging may be a little later than usual
