Significant sighting

MichaelMulvaney noted:

18 Jan 2025

nesting site of which only around 110 are known across the Gang-gangs entire range

User's notes

Both birds arrive at hollow and first M goes into hollow while F perches above. A minute later M leaves hollow and waits at hollow entrance while F enters hollow. F leaves hollow and both fly away together from hollow. All of this happens silently. Probably feeding chicks/young? Have observed them daily at the hollow since the 31 Dec 2024.
