The snout seems to be bluntly trilobed which suggests Anilios proximus. The posting does not include a locality which would be the first thing I need in any id.
Definitely a blind snake, probably belonging to the genus Anilios, and most probably Anilios nigrescens but it could be another species like Anilios bituberculatus, which has recently been recorded in nearby Port Macquarie. Therefore it's prudent to list this as Anilios sp. because of the uncertainty.
