Fisera perplexata is a quite variable species it seems, but quite a few examples I see online have a light centre to the dark wing spots as can be seen in this sighting.

The type location is Tasmania, though Moths of Victoria note its presence in Victoria and NSW but this pushed the distribution a long way north. I note the original description does say “irregularly black-speckled”
