User's notes

Feeding on seed in assisted naturally regenerated *Acacia mearnsii* trees, around our private, family nature farm home; (assisted regeneration by: grazing–browsing pressure reduced, weeds incl Kikuyu controlled, protection and further target weeding of the indigenous ground plants incl. grasses: incl. weeping grass, *Poa*s, Au wheat grass, etc. and the soil natural mulch, fire season fuel closely managed, etc.). . Sorry, only these four very low resolution, mobile phone quick snap, poor quality into sunlight, photos, observation of this species here (I didn't have my camera handy at the time); much photographed elsewhere by many people in high quality. . For what it's worth of observing this species in this location, much more often seen in the mountains including those nearby and further into the Vic. & NSW alps. . LG flip phone, very low resolution, very rough, photos, only . .
