A pod of five, meandering along - then I saw the wake of a jet ski, and a few moments later I noticed the whales clipping along (I did not see where the jet ski ended up - only that it was taking a course towards the whales). A fellow observer told me the skiers went in front of the whales, which then surrounded them. :(

Hi Lisa, from the photos I can't see for sure that they were Megaptera novaeangliae. Can you give any other information?
