User's notes
Culm: grooved, nodeless. Basal leaf-sheath: reddish, wit 5 mm lamina: opening dense white woolly. Involucral bract longer than inflorescence, to 1.5 cm. Spikelets -: three, dark red brown, fringed dense white woolly hairs.
