Nb the number of antennae segments, c. 10-11. Also the more compact shape than Heide. It would overlap with Heide in this area. I have checkerd Penrose Cemetery for morabines but none seen so far.

This is quite a significant eastward extension to range. Do you have any info on the vegetation at this site. Is Newbury Drive where you live? Roger

@RogerF I found it in one of my neglected areas of the garden. It originally was a dry dirt patch under some gum trees which I chucked some mulch on and put in some native plants, Banksias and Grevilleas. Over time native grasses popped up and some Narrow leaved Geebungs so I just left that section of the garden to do as it pleased. I spotted it on one of the native grasses before it hopped onto the wire cage I was using to protect another plant from rabbits. The rest of the vegetation on our property consists of a couple of open paddocks with islands of regenerated vegetation around the paddock trees, as well as 14 acres of dry sclerophyll forest.
