User's notes
A small moth, which is overall cylindrical in shape. It is light fawn-grey in colour with 3 dark spots on each outer wing. 3 ‘lines’ of tiny brown dots, run roughly horizontal from the rear edge of each wing. A more solid line, somewhat scalloped, runs left to right across each wing between the smallest of the 3 dots (nearest where the wing joins the body), and the 2nd dot. Whilst the wings appear hairy, increasingly so towards their join with the body, they are also lustrous, photo 1. The head and thorax are covered in very thick & long hairs tending to a light tan colour, as do the upper front legs, (photo 2). The covering of thick long hairs extends to the underside of the thorax and the sides (?and possibl;y upper?) abdomen (photo 3).
