Common in recent weeks after fires, growing on burnt wood and soil. These fungi are hairless and their coalesceing growth results in a continuous mass. As these fungi mature the become powdery.

A bright golden species found elevated above the ground on wood and stems of species such as Ghania spp. These are often some of the first species seen after fires. Listed as Pyronema sp. A
