Ryvardenia campyla (Weeping Polypore)

This is a common wood-rotting bracket fungus which exudes amber droplets of moisture; occasionally found on stumps, logs, and occasionally living trees.

It has a Gondwanaland connection.  Brackets often in tiers or originating from one spot

Colours in radial zones, brown to beige to white, often lighter margin; wrinkled and pitted; edge acute to obtuse and rounded.

Droplets of colourless to amber liquid are exuded, especially near the pale margin.

Underneath is very pale, fine pores, exuding colourless to amber droplets

Flesh white, waxy, chalky.
