Smyriodes undescribed species nr aplectaria


Smyriodes trigramma , aplectaria, and undescribed species nr aplectaria are difficult to distinguish using photos of  closed wing specimens.  The undescribed species is the common ACT one,  with S. aplectaria being generally larger in size and more coastal in distribution, and S. trigramma being smaller and more western.  It is possible that there is more than one species present on this page.
