Austrocylindropuntia cylindrica (Cane Cactus)

This is a weed of national significance. Cane cactus, native to the Ecuador highlands, has naturalised in a few isolated areas in inland central New South Wales. It is a potential weed of grasslands, shrublands and open woodlands, particularly in semi-arid regions.
