Dichromodes euscia (Omega Heath Moth)

The adult moths of this species have forewings that are greyish brown, each with an incomplete black band across the middle. The hindwings are plain grey-brown. The moths normally rest with the forewings covering the hindwings. The females have threadlike antennae. The males have antennae with a feather-like fringe on one side. The wingspan is about 2 cms.The species has been found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania.
