Hemitrichia calyculata

Sporocarps stalked to sessile. Spore mass in fresh state yellow to olivaceous yellow. Peridium persistent, dehiscence occurs by the disruption of its upper part, while the lower part remains as a calyculus. Capillitium composed either of the network of elastic tubules with few free ends, or of free elaters. Capillitium tubules ornamented with spirals. Spores ornamented with warts or subreticulate or reticulate patterns.
