Cap:  to c. 15 mm across, at first broadly funeel-shaped, white but sometimes becoming faintly pinkish with age.

Substrate: Colonises dead wood, usually small standing trunks of various tree species.

Habitat: Moist to wet forests

Spores: White in deposit. Elongated pip-shaped, smooth.
