User's notes

Single group of 17 seen perched in gum trees surrounding a dam at dusk. The glossies were flying from tree to tree making the count tricky but there were at least 17. My initial count was 20 and second was 17 so have gone with the more conservative number. First time seen on the property although they are not an uncommon sight in Joadja Nature Reserve which is nearby. They had possibly come down from the forested hills to have a drink. Unfortunately I only had my iPhone with me but was able to snap a few photos for the record. A welcome surprise.
