This is what’ is locally known as a Jumping Jack, and it has several features in common with some Bull Ants I’m posting. (perhaps Jumping Jacks are a sort of bull ant???). This includes having 6-7 distinguishable segments to their bodies, (not including the raindrop at end of the abdomen!), much like this one. Also the almost squared off (chisel shaped) head with eyes at the very front corners, and a pincer virtually below each. (Similar Head shapes and segmentation (the numbers of segments vary between these) on different species can be seen at sightings 4664492, 4664494, 4664561 & 4664572 also 4664572 & 4664575.
