X. resinosa occurs as far north as Dudley in Central Coast NSW, and as far inland as the Gardens of Stone National Park.
By contrast, X. glauca subsp. glauca (https://vicflora.rbg.vic.gov.au/flora/taxon/a16f8a34-1143-4a84-94e8-65ab97a5e727) and X. glauca subsp. angustifolia (https://vicflora.rbg.vic.gov.au/flora/taxon/859faa43-601b-461d-8749-68a83885c008) can be excluded as neither subspecies occur within the bioregion of Carrington Falls.
I saw some more Celtis australis on my walk today, but your group will no doubt find them. I did record Ligustrum lucidum (Large-leaved Privet) which is more important to get rid of.
