Feathertail Gliders are rarely recorded in the Wodonga-Albury area or wider region
User's notes
May need to zoom in to bottom left side of main branch fork. Appears too small for Brush-tailed Phascogale (and lack of distinct dark tail fur). Upright tail. Time (02:13am) does not suit more diurnal Yellow-footed antechinus. Best guess is Feathertail Glider. There is a record of Common Ringtail Possum in the same fork for scale

Does look like a feather glider - how nice that they are still about - will leave to those more knowledgeable than me to confirm.

I concur with both of you that this is a feathertail glider. Roundness of the head, the edging along the tail, and you can nearly make out the membrane connecting the fore and hind limbs. This is so exciting!
